He's by Holstein Verband stallion Million's Way, out of the famous Carassina line — the same female family behind licensed stallion United Way. Million's Way completed his 50-day performance test with a jumping score of 8.40, and is already out competing at S* level under Arne van Heel with international results on the board. His damsire Concerto II is a Contender son whose daughters are considered gold when they do make it to stud — elite jumping blood, top to bottom.

On his dam's side, Cookie brings the TB x WB cross we love, by Massimo Quality — a proven producer of successful showjumping and eventing horses. Massimo is himself by Mylord Carthago (out of legendary broodmare Fragrance de Chalus) and traces to Quidam de Revel, Galoubet and Furioso. His dam's dam, TB mare Gunns Spinnaker, is behind our own Belrieve Sailor (2* eventer) and is a half-sister to Kildonan Tug, the 4* eventer who sold to the USA for six figures.
