Best described as a Thoroughbred in a Warmblood body, he’s the quintessential eventer type — athletic, brave, and forward-thinking — but also possesses enough scope and class to shine as a straight showjumper.

At his first dressage outing, he won a competitive class, demonstrating his natural balance and trainability. He has attended multiple showjumping competitions, jumping clear at 80cm, and is confidently schooling 90cm+ at home. At his first eventing start, he tackled the cross-country course with his ears pricked and zero hesitation, finishing with no jumping penalties.

This young gelding has a wonderful nature. He’s easy to handle at home and out — whether taken alone or with a companion, he’s settled and sensible, with no separation anxiety. He’s straightforward to shoe, float, and manage in every way. He travels and eats well at competitions, and even after a spell or time off, he doesn't need lunging — just hop on and ride.

Crystal Clear is a naturally athletic horse with expressive, balanced paces. He’s quick to learn and eager to please, making him a joy to educate. He has an uphill, rhythmic canter and a smooth, active trot with excellent hock action. As a jumper, he’s showing a willing attitude and is developing a careful, correct technique.

With ongoing education and experience, we expect him to mature into a kind, easy-going partner suitable for a wide range of riders. His temperament, movement, and jump make him a genuine prospect for competitive eventing or showjumping — or both.
