PRETZEL is a talented young horse combining a lovely balance of spirit and sensibility. He has a friendly, willing nature, paired with the intelligence to relax when needed and focus on the job. With excellent conformation, correct feet and legs, and a well-set neck and shoulder, he is showing all the right qualities for both showjumping and eventing. He already demonstrates a careful technique and natural ability over a fence.

Now under saddle, Pretzel is going kindly and proving to be a very straightforward ride. He has a soft, willing attitude to his work and is uncomplicated in his training, making him an enjoyable horse to produce. On the ground, he is equally easy — he hard ties, is good to handle, has no separation anxiety, and is a pleasure to have around the stable.

A compact type with a “big horse” feel, Pretzel offers all the quality and presence of a larger horse in a more manageable package — an appealing combination for a wide range of riders.

Pretzel is out of our proven mare Belrievevale Bubbles, who has produced multiple successful offspring:

• Belrieve Squeak – competitive 2* eventer, later a PSG dressage horse, and 1.20 m showjumper with a junior rider

• Belrieve Aero – now a young horse with Olympian Shane Rose, continuing his career in a top professional program

All of Bubbles’ progeny are known for their sweet nature and engaging personalities, and Pretzel is no exception — a fun, trainable young horse with genuine character.

His sire, Spectre D, is an approved AWHA stallion who earned 9/10 for jumping ability. In 2023, he competed successfully in Futurity classes (1.25–1.40 m), including a win at the Tamworth World Cup Show and a 3rd placing in a qualifier at the Australian Championships. He is now set to commence his World Cup career in 2026, further reinforcing the strength of Pretzel’s pedigree. His dam, Fairbanks Lulu, competed at World Cup level before becoming a highly reliable junior mount, adding further depth to an already proven jumping family.
