Her sire, Massimo Quality, is by French showjumping star Mylord Carthago, out of the legendary Carthago and the iconic broodmare Fragrance de Chalus. His dam line is just as strong, running through Quidam de Revel — the stallion who put Selle Français jumping blood on the map — and the great Galoubet. The mare Tanagra (a Furioso daughter) appears three times in his pedigree, including as the dam of Jalisco B, giving three crosses of world-class quality. Massimo's progeny are making their mark in eventing and showjumping both here and abroad, and it's this blend of proven performance and blue-chip European bloodlines that Outline carries forward into her own foals.

On her dam's side, Outline is out of Feldale Silhouette, a full sister to Feldale Short Black, a 3* eventer now campaigned in WA by a talented young rider — good genes clearly run deep in this family. Silhouette's sire, Feldale Regardless R, was successful to 2* eventing, 1.20m showjumping and Prix St Georges dressage, and is by the legendary Regardez Moi — still the most winning Grand Prix dressage stallion in Australian history, with over 40 Grand Prix wins and three consecutive Equitana Freestyle titles. Silhouette is out of a mare by Staccato, ranked World No.1 Eventing Stallion for several years and a CIC4* winner himself, who later proved out to Prix St Georges dressage. Staccato is behind Panamera and Sandhills Brillaire, back-to-back Adelaide CCI4* winners in 2011 and 2012.
